Level 1—Beginner
Collierville BEGINNER classes are for the majority of recreational tennis players. This is our regular program which has been the most successful community program in the Memphis area for almost 20 years. We consider “Beginners” to be players that have: 1) Never played, 2) have played very little and this is the only tennis training they do, 3) have participated in our programs but still lack the foundations to play more advanced point play and match play. Class participants need to bring a tennis racquet, water, wear tennis shoes, dress for the weather and a hat or visor to class.
Session dates: October 22 - November 19 (Monday's - 5 classes)
Class times: 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Rain-Out Make-up dates: Dec 3 & 10
In the event of inclement weather or courts are wet a decision will be made by 4 p.m. that day. An email will be sent out to class participants. Meet coaching staff on court#1 at H.W. Cox Park Tennis Facility.
